Required documents

Waseda University “School of Fundamental Science and Engineering” (JCulP) requires prospective students to submit several documents. One of the required documents is a written essay of about 800 words about their interest in JCulP and what makes them a suitable and unique candidate.

Additionally, if the student’s previous education system was one in which the first language is NOT English, then they are required to submit a certificate to prove their English proficiency. Acceptable types of certification are TOEFL iBT, TOEIC L&R, IELTS (Academic), GEPT (General English Proficiency Test) and EIKEN (Test in Practical English Proficiency).
