Required documents
Asian Pacific University (APU) requires prospective students to submit several documents. One of the required documents is an application essay (600 words) about the following 4 topics:
- What you aim to learn at APU and your future goals (150 words)
- Discuss a topic that is relevant to your study and share your opinion (150 words)
- Challenge or difficult situation you faced. How did you overcome? (150 words)
- Interests outside of school you pursued? What skill did you learn? (150 words)
Furthermore, students are required to take an interview test. In general, they will be asked about their applications, their motivation for applying, and their future goals.
Additionally, if the student’s previous education system was one in which the first language is NOT English, then they are required to submit a certificate to prove their English proficiency. Acceptable types of certification are TOEFL iBT, TOEFL PBT, IELTS, PTE Academic and Cambridge English Language Assessment.
